Keynote by Maarten Steinbuch (TUE and Eindhoven Engine)
AI for hardware
How does AI affect our lives today and how will it shape our society in the future? Moore’s law enables fast developments in sensor technology, AI computing, robotics and automotive. Will robots outperform humans? Or, what would happen if there were mixed teams? The resulting findings can be applied to service robotics for care at home as well as to self-driving vehicles for agriculture, logistics and industrial applications. Can we leverage the strength of our region using AI? Are we fast enough? Maarten Steinbuch, distinguished university professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and scientific director of Eindhoven Engine, will try to answer all these questions in an inspiring opening keynote.
